Bynder Integration for Shopware 6 - DAM Connector

With the Bynder plugin for Shopware 6, you can connect your online shop directly to Bynder’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This allows you to use images, videos, and other media from Bynder directly in Shopware—without leaving the backend.

After installation, a new folder called “Bynder” is automatically created in your Shopware media library. Once you’ve connected your Bynder account in the plugin, you’ll have immediate access to your media.

Two options for using media:

• CDN mode: Images are loaded directly from Bynder (not stored in Shopware). You can decide which preview images (thumbnails) are displayed.
• Copy mode: Images are copied into Shopware when selected and stored there. Thumbnails are automatically generated by Shopware.

Further features at a glance:

• You can connect multiple Bynder portals and choose which image versions (e.g., web or thumbnail variants) should be used.
• There is automatic synchronization: if something changes in Bynder, it will also be updated in Shopware—thanks to webhooks.
• In all areas where you can upload images, there is now a “Select from Bynder” button. This lets you conveniently search for images, preview them, and then import them directly.
