Source code

In computer science, source code, also called source text, refers to a readable text, a text of a computer program written in a programming language. This source code can also be designated for a program in the form of a software document. Such a program is automatically translated into machine language. However, source code can also be found in non-textual form, e.g. a graphic linking of logical function blocks.
